American artist Jamie Ferguson’s currently works and resides in California, dividing time between San Diego and Big Bear Lake in the San Bernardino mountains. His artwork presents examination of self and the human condition. He utilizes different palettes to invite the viewer to exploration of meaning of our place in the universe as sentient and emotional beings. His compositions incorporate negative space and open compositions to increase tension and promote reflection, inward and out.

He draws inspiration from a lifetime of multimedia experience in pottery, musical performance, mechanical design, drawing and traditional oil painting.
